The Empress Collection

I chose The Empress from the tarot as the inspiration for this collection (& my theme for the year ahead) because it's what I'm craving most right now. I think many of us are. 

Beauty. Creativity. That deep connection to my innermost self & the energy that connects us, the Earth, the Universe. The potential & yearning to create something new in this world.

It sounds lovely, but that doesn't mean it's always easy. The process of creating something from the hearts splits us wide open & shifts the very core of our being. It asks us to grow, stretching beyond our current comfort zones, & has the potential to create changes that ripple out into our everyday lives, as well as touch the lives of others.

It's no small thing. 

The Empress reminds us that we are capable of more than we can imagine. We create things that were not here before, from our hearts & imaginations. We are strong enough to face the journey required to turn dreams into reality & make life beautiful while doing so. We can hold joy & grief, hope & fear, doubt & faith, all at once. We are magic. 

This collection looks like a dream, made for everyday life. It's a gentle invitation to take pleasure in the little details & get creative, wearing fancy outfits for daily chores for the sheer joy of it. Like the flowers the colour palette calls to mind, these garments infuse the day with a bit of sunshine & remind us that something can be practical & beautiful, soft & powerful. With a focus on flowing shapes, lush textures & romantic notions, my hope is you'll feel both elegant & comfortable as you move through your day.
